Enbridge Survives Crude Oil Transportation Antitrust Allegations

Enbridge Inc. was successful in its bid to get rid of an antitrust suit from an Illinois-based energy firm that alleged the company tried to stifle competition for crude oil transportation.

The first amended complaint was dismissed because “Ducere failed to plausibly allege the elements of its monopolization claims,” Judge April M. Perry of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois said Monday.
