The Texas Blockchain Council won a court order temporarily blocking the US Department of Energy from collecting data on its members’ electricity use.
The council and Riot Platforms Inc. sued the DOE, Energy Information Administration, and the Office of Management and Budget last week, saying they would be harmed if they were required to “divulge confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information.”
