Constellation Sues Another Gas Supplier Over Delivery Failure

Constellation Energy Generation LLC sued another of its natural gas suppliers for breach of contract, alleging that they failed to deliver gas to the energy provider as agreed, leading to a loss of $10.4 million.

The suit filed in Harris County 127th District Court on Tuesday says that NextEra Energy Power Marketing LLC failed to deliver natural gas during winter storm Uri in February 2021. Texas saw a steep drop in temperatures that caused power outages across the state.
