The US Supreme Court wants the Biden administration to weigh in on a pending petition examining whether or not state courts are equipped to handle the thicket of climate misinformation cases around the country.
In a short order issued on Monday, justices asked the US solicitor general for a brief “expressing the views” of the US regarding Sunoco LP v. Honolulu. Justice Samuel Alito did not take part in the decision.
