Coal plant operator Ameren Missouri continues to neglect court orders to control excess air pollution from its Rush Island facility, according to a new order.
The US District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri said June 14 that company promises to retire the Rush Island utility fail to adequately remedy multiple decisions finding the plant in violation of the Clean Air Act.
