Energy Transfer Prevails Over Combat Vet’s Bias Suit in 5th Cir.

Energy Transfer LLC and its subsidiary defeated claims in the Fifth Circuit on Monday that they discriminated against an ex-plant operator for having PTSD and being a veteran.

The US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit affirmed a lower court’s grant of summary judgment to Energy Transfer and La Grange Acquisition LP in ex-plant operator’s Abel Garza’s lawsuit.
