Newly minted Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation Director Gordon Hartogensis now has two new advisory committee members to talk policy with.
President Donald Trump updated the roster of pension benefit advisers on June 21, appointing an Obama-era alum and promoting an existing panelist to chairman of the seven-member committee. The PBGC announced it was looking for new recruits in August 2018; all sitting members’ three-year terms expired in February.
Hartogensis, an administration newcomer himself, hailed the additions as “excellent appointments.” “I am looking forward to working with them,” he said in a press release.
