Hospitality workers at the Four Queens Hotel & Casino and the Binion’s Gambling Hall & Hotel in Las Vegas will vote “soon” on a proposed five-year labor contract, Culinary Workers Union Local 226 said July 24.
The tentative agreement would cover 650 workers at the two downtown casinos, union spokesperson Bethany Khan told Bloomberg Law. The proposed deal comes about two months after workers at 34 properties in Las Vegas threatened a strike. Seven other properties are still in negotiations.
Khan didn’t disclose details of the contract but said it includes raises that are the “highest wage increases ever negotiated” ...
