Veterans’ Affairs Again Nixes Union Pact Despite Court Order (2)

The Department of Veterans’ Affairs re-terminated its collective bargaining agreement despite a court order blocking the agency from taking that action.

The VA in a Thursday court filing said it had once again ended its master agreement with the American Federation of Government Employees, despite a March 13 preliminary injunction from Rhode Island District Court Judge Melissa DuBose that ordered the VA to reinstate the contract while litigation proceeds.

A federal judge Friday ordered the VA to reverse course.
