Verizon Retailer’s Revised $1.8 Million Wage Deal Wins Approval

A $1.86 million amended settlement between between Victra, an authorized Verizon retailer, and more than 20,000 employees received approval from a federal judge in Tennessee, resolving Fair Labor Standards Act collective claims for unpaid overtime.

The revised deal increases the payout for members of the FLSA collective from $1.25 million to about $1.4 million. Collective members will each receive a base payment ranging from $10 to $25, plus an additional payment based on how many weeks they worked during the relevant period.
