Verizon Retailer’s $1.7 Million Wage Deal Rejected by Judge

Victra, an authorized Verizon retailer, agreed to pay $1.7 million to end a Fair Labor Standards Act overtime lawsuit affecting more than 15,000 employees, but the parties must provide more details and fix significant deficiencies before obtaining court approval.

There’s no information about how much overtime the employees worked or their potential range of recovery, so it’s impossible to determine if the settlement amount is fair and reasonable, Judge Samuel H.
