The NLRB upheld on Tuesday an administrative law judge’s April ruling that the electric carmaker violated federal labor law by forbidding employees from discussing wages and other employment issues with colleagues or outside parties.
Tesla also illegally required workers to follow the “chain of command” on disciplinary issues by barring them from bringing complaints about work conditions to higher-level managers, according to Administrative Law Judge Michael Rosas.
