The Senate labor committee plans to vote Oct. 26 on whether to advance nominees to head the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration and Office of Inspector General, the panel announced Tuesday.
The Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee will take up eight nominations total, including six from other federal agencies, but left out of the mix was Lisa Gomez, the nominee to lead DOL’s Employee Benefits Security Administration.
