A coalition of business groups in San Antonio is suing the city over an impending mandate that employers provide paid sick leave to their workers.
The challenge to the leave ordinance follows a similar legal battle in Austin, where businesses represented by the Texas Public Policy Foundation succeeded in delaying implementation of a paid sick leave law in the state capital when the Texas Third Court of Appeals ruled in its favor.
