NLRB Remedies Under Scrutiny in Tenth Cir. Hallmark Movie Case

The National Labor Relations Board urged a federal appeals court panel to toss a challenge to the remedies it ordered against a pair of movie production companies, seemingly gaining the support of at least one judge on procedural grounds.

3484 Inc. and 3486 Inc. seek to overturn a March 2024 NLRB ruling that awarded back pay for nine film set truck drivers found to have been unlawfully fired after they went on strike. They argued the agency exceeded its authority by ordering that compensation.
