Hallmark Film Producers Must Reinstate Fired Drivers, NLRB Says

Two film production companies must offer nine workers their jobs back after the National Labor Relations Board found they were fired unlawfully.

Supervisors for the production companies, 3484 Inc. and 3486 Inc., violated federal labor law by interrogating employees about their union activities and threatening to relocate the sets of two films being produced for the Hallmark channel, the NLRB held Thursday.

The unanimous ruling from NLRB Chair Lauren McFerran and Members Gywnne Wilcox and David Prouty upholds a 2023 decision from an agency administrative law judge.
