NLRB Prosecutors Pressing for Rule Changes for Union Fees

The NLRB general counsel’s office has teed up a case that could prompt a change in the law to require unions to disclose how much employees in unionized workplaces would pay in fees if they don’t join.

National Labor Relations Board attorneys filed a complaint against a Unite Here affiliate in Seattle on the same day last month that General Counsel Peter Robb publicly announced his position that the law on fee disclosure should change.
