NLRB Election Process to See Audit After Starbucks Cahoots Claim

An independent watchdog will investigate how the National Labor Relations Board validates election results following Starbucks Corp.’s allegations of impropriety and interference.

The labor board’s Office of Inspector General announced that it will audit the NLRB’s procedures beginning Friday to “determine if any external factors are impeding the Agency’s mail ballot elections” among other lines of inquiry, according to a memorandum.
