Marriott Reaches Tentative Deal to End Workers’ Strike in Hawaii

Marriott workers in Hawaii reached an agreement with their employer Nov. 27, settling a strike that lasted for some 50 days, a UNITE HERE spokesperson told Bloomberg Law.

About 2,700 workers have been on strike since Oct. 8 at Marriott hotels, including The Royal Hawaiian in Waikiki. Most of the hotels on strike were on Oahu, with one hotel on Maui.
