Labor Bill Offers Policy Barometer for Democratic Hopefuls

A House Education and Labor subcommittee will take up a bill today that may serve as a labor policy barometer for Democrats seeking the White House. AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka, who’s group is already being courted by White House hopefuls, and former National Labor Relations Board members Philip Miscimarra (R) and Mark Gaston Pearce (D) will testify at a hearing on the legislation.
