Justices Should Quickly Reverse Overtime Proof Decision, US Says

A Fourth Circuit opinion on the burden companies must carry to show that their employees are exempt from overtime is “unreasoned and inconsistent with” high court precedent and should be summarily reversed, the federal government told the US Supreme Court.

The circuit court sided with the workers of a food products wholesalerby imposing a clear-and-convincing-evidence proof standard.
