HomeDeliveryLink Gets Class Decertified in N.Y. Driver Wage Suit

Shipping logistics company HomeDeliveryLink Inc. convinced a federal judge to decertify a class of “contract carrier” drivers who claim they were misclassified and underpaid under New York law.

New evidence shows that different drivers had different work experiences with HDL and thus it’s no longer possible to resolve the misclassification question on a class-wide basis, Judge Frank P. Geraci Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York said Monday.
