Government Enforcement in MeToo Era Tallies 15 New Lawsuits

The U.S. government’s job rights watchdog recently put its considerable weight more firmly behind the #MeToo movement by reconvening an agency task force on workplace harassment and filing a wave of new lawsuits that allege sexual harassment.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission brought seven enforcement actions within 48 hours of its June 11 public meeting—and filed an eighth the following day.
