Google Appeal of YouTube Bargaining Order to Occur in D.C. Cir.

Google LLC‘s appeal from US labor board order to bargain with YouTube contract workers will be consolidated with the union’s appeal and heard in the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.

The US Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation said Tuesday that it randomly selected the D.C. Circuit as the stage for review of a National Labor Relations Board ruling that found Google and Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp. jointly employ workers at YouTube and were illegally failing to bargain with the union.
