Federal Worker Engagement Dips Slightly in ‘Tumultuous’ Year

NASA maintained its place as the highest-rated large agency in the new Best Places to Work in the Federal Government rankings from the Partnership for Public Service.

Federal employee engagement scores are down only slightly despite a “tumultuous year” that included the 35-day partial government shutdown in early 2019 that affected about 800,000 of the nation’s 2 million federal workers, said Max Stier, the partnership’s president and CEO.
