ExpressJet Pilots Ratify Contract With SkyWest (1)

The pilots of ExpressJet Airlines, a SkyWest subsidiary, ratified a three-year contract that includes market-rate wages, stronger job security, and enhanced work rules, the Air Line Pilots Association announced Sept. 27.

Each pilot will receive about $14,000 to $15,000 of additional annual compensation under the contract, the union’s statement said.

“This contract is a positive step forward for ExpressJet and we appreciate the support and dedication of our more than 1,300 pilots,” company spokesman Jarek Beem told Bloomberg Law.
