ExpressJet Pilots to Vote on Proposed Labor Pact

Pilots who fly for SkyWest subsidary ExpressJet will begin voting later this week on what could be their first new contract with the company in 14 years, the Air Line Pilots Association announced.

“The goal was to maintain the industry-leading cornerstones of our contract while achieving improvements for every pilot on our seniority list, regardless of how long they have been with the airline,” Joe Mauro, head of the Express Jet pilots union, said in a statement. “While it was not easy, I believe we accomplished that.”
