National Labor Relations Board official William Cowen resumed his regional leadership role after his stint as acting general counsel ended last week.
Cowen is serving as regional director for one of the NLRB’s two field offices in Los Angeles, according to the agency’s website. He held that RD position before President Donald Trump tapped him in February 2025 to lead the NLRB’s legal division on an interim basis.
General Counsel Crystal Carey took the reins from Cowen after she was sworn-in Jan. 7, more than nine months after Trump first nominated her to the post.
