EEOC Names Carol Miaskoff as Head of Office of Legal Counsel

Carol Miaskoff, a career attorney at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, will serve as legal counsel for the workplace civil rights agency.

The position heads the agency’s Office of Legal Counsel and is responsible for representing the EEOC in defensive litigation and developing policy guidance, among other duties. It is separate from the agency’s general counsel, a role that carries out anti-bias enforcement litigation.
