Dick’s Sporting Goods Trims Managers’ Overtime Collective Action

Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. may enforce arbitration agreements against 17 assistant managers who belong to a Fair Labor Standards Act overtime collective, a Pennsylvania federal judge ruled, dismissing their claims from the action.

These managers all received a copy of the arbitration agreement through Dick’s electronic employee onboarding process, acknowledged its terms, and accepted them by continuing to work there afterward, Judge Marilyn J. Horan of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania said Monday.
