Congressional Democrats will propose legislation to establish two weeks of paid annual leave per year for workers, which would grant the benefit to nearly 27 million Americans who don’t currently have paid vacation time.
Rep. Seth Magaziner (R.I.) on Wednesday plans to introduce the Protected Time Off Act, which would require employers to provide one hour of paid annual leave for every 25 hours worked, according to a copy of the bill obtained by Bloomberg Law.
