The owners of several Culver’s fast-casual restaurants in Michigan discriminated against a transgender employee by allowing workers to misgender and deadname him, the EEOC alleged in a new complaint.
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission also accused the companies of firing Asher Lucas and three other employees in retaliation for opposing the harassment, according to the lawsuit filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan on Friday.
