Boeing Lawyer’s Senate Panel NLRB Nomination Vote Delayed Again

A Senate panel postponed consideration of a Boeing Co. lawyer’s nomination to join the National Labor Relations Board for a second time, further delaying the restoration of the board’s ability to issue decisions.

The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee had scheduled a Wednesday vote on approving chief labor counsel Scott Mayer to join the board. The panel pushed the vote back several times over the course of the day before scrapping it.
