Boeing Lawyer Set for Senate Panel Vote to Join NLRB After Delay

The Trump administration’s pick to fill one of the four empty National Labor Relations Board seats will get a Senate panel vote on Nov. 19 that could advance him to the full Senate for confirmation.

The Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions announced Wednesday that it will consider approving Scott Mayer, chief labor counsel at the Boeing Co. The panel previously scheduled him for an Oct. 9 vote alongside two other NLRB nominees, but removed him from the slate at the last minute.
