Leaders of the House labor panel have unveiled their plan to revamp the US workforce development system following months of work and pleas from industry leaders for reform.
Reps. Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.) and Bobby Scott (D-Va.)—chairwoman and ranking member of the Committee on Education and the Workforce—Thursday announced legislation to reauthorize the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, the law governing most of the federal job training infrastructure.
