Anti-Abortion Groups Seek to Defend Trump Against Ex-EEOC Member

Advocacy groups opposed to EEOC protections for workers seeking abortions and for transgender and nonbinary workers are trying to step in on behalf of President Donald Trump in a lawsuit fired commissioner Jocelyn Samuels filed against him.

The Choices Pregnancy Centers of Greater Phoenix, Inc. and Christian Employers Alliance filed the motion to join the case as intervenors Thursday in the US District Court for the District of Columbia, calling themselves “beneficiaries” of Trump’s decision to remove Samuels.
