Amazon Sues to Block NY Labor Law Seeking to Fill NLRB Void (1)

Amazon.com Services LLC is challenging New York’s law claiming state authority over private-sector labor disputes, alleging that federal law preempts it.

The lawsuit, filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York on Monday, is the second seeking to block the recently enacted statute, following legal action from the National Labor Relations Board.
