Financial software company Adenza Inc. settled a lawsuit alleging it used misappropriated trade secrets to poach a competitor’s customers, resulting in millions of dollars in lost revenue.
The US District Court for the Southern District of New York closed the case Thursday after the parties attended a settlement conference Wednesday. The suit survived a motion to dismiss in March after the court said DASH Regulatory Technologies LLC sufficiently alleged that former employee Thomas Martin emailed himself information before departing, including customer contracts and pricing data.
