DuPont, Corteva Unable to Fend Off Trial Over Pension Benefits

DuPont de Nemours Inc. and Corteva Inc. failed to convince a federal court to dismiss a class action suit against them challenging the way they handled employee benefits during their 2019 restructuring.

DuPont de Nemours and Corteva are facing two classes of employees, certified in November 2023, who allege the companies’ recent corporate restructuring improperly blocked workers from receiving the early retirement benefits they’d been promised.
