Data cloud company Snowflake was unable to shake a consolidated data breach class action after a federal court ruled that the plaintiffs sufficiently demonstrated they had standing to pursue their claims.
Cybercriminals breached Snowflake’s cloud platform and stole data from at least 165 companies and organizations, including 560 million customer records from Ticketmaster that had event data, order details, and contact information. Other companies have opted to settle the claims.
