Dollar General Shoppers Urge OK for Infant Pain Drug Label Deal

A settlement calling for Dollar General Corp. to pay $1.8 million and change the packaging of its “infant” pain relief products provides meaningful relief to consumers allegedly misled into thinking their children couldn’t safely use the cheaper “children’s” medicine, a plaintiffs’ filing in Florida federal court says.

The discount retailer distributes its own brand of acetaminophen pain reliever and fever reducer under the “DG Health” label.
