Apple iPhone XR Flawed Antenna Suit Dropped by Plaintiffs

Apple Inc. consumers have dismissed, for now, a proposed class suit in a California federal court alleging Apple didn’t tell them the iPhone XR was equipped with an inferior antenna that causes connectivity problems such as slow download speeds and dropped calls.

Robert Altmann and others sought to represent a nationwide class. Their suit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California alleged consumers began to report connectivity issues immediately after Apple’s release of the iPhone XR in October 2018.
