Attorneys who negotiated a $95 million settlement for a class of consumers who sued
Vicky Maldonado and others alleged Apple breached its warranty agreements when it sent out purportedly comparable replacement devices that weren’t equivalent to new, as promised.
The class, certified in 2019, includes customers who bought Apple’s extended warranty plans, AppleCare and AppleCare+, since 2012 and who received a refurbished device.
