Zoom Video Communications Inc. has a new general counsel.

Jeffrey True, who spent most of the past decade as the top lawyer for cybersecurity company Palo Alto Networks Inc., is now part of Zoom’s executive leadership in the same legal role. True and a Zoom spokeswoman confirmed via email that his first day at the company was Aug. 24.
