Dunn is representing Google as its lead defense attorney in United States v. Google, the Biden-Harris administration’s antitrust lawsuit targeting the tech giant’s digital advertising practices. The trial is set to begin Sept. 9—a day before the first presidential debate. (Fox News)
- Supio, an artificial intelligence platform for legal teams, emerged from stealth this week with a $25 million investment led by Sapphire Ventures. Supio uses generative AI to automate bulk data collection and aggregation in a chatbot for teams handling thousands of documents for personal injury and mass tort cases. (TechCrunch)
- A paralegal at London’s Khans Solicitors who was dismissed from her job in 2020, has been awarded damages of more than £100,000 after an employment tribunal decided that she was unfairly fired over unpaid wages, subjected to disability discrimination, and harassed on the basis of her sex by firm managers.
