- At least two more immigration attorneys received emails from the Department of Homeland Security ordering them to self-deport. Despite being US citizens, Rea Main of Ohio and Carmen Bello of Massachusetts said they likely received the messages due to their email addresses being listed on clients’ immigration applications. - A New York attorney accused a British private intelligence firm of paying mercenary hackers who he says tipped a court battle in his opponents’ favor. Daniel Feldman accused London-based investigations firm Vantage Intelligence of paying the spies who intercepted privileged communications with his attorneys in 2016, 2017, and 2018. (Reuters)
- A New Hampshire real estate attorney said he was detained at the border without an explanation after returning from a trip to Canada. Bachir Atallah, a US citizen, said he was forced from his car and handcuffed before agents asked to look through his phone. Atallah said he plans to seek legal action. (NBC Boston)
