  • Kirkland & Ellis advised UK defense contractor BAE Systems in a $5.55 billion acquisition of Ball Corporation’s space technology outfit. The deal is said to be the largest British acquisition of the year, and Kirkland’s first big mandate for BAE. (Law.com)
  • Alston & Bird resolved a court battle with a disinfectant wipe company accusing the firm of giving it shoddy legal advice about how to label imported products near the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. The terms of the resolution were not disclosed. (Reuters)
  • Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Bradley was caught editing her own Wikipedia page. She says the page “distorted my record” regarding statements on Covid-19 lockdown orders. (Newsweek)
