Rachel Cohen’s videos have an educational feel to them, with explanations of how arrests work—she was arrested herself for blocking a deportation van—and outlining how viewers can resist ICE. • Timothy Parlatore, a former member of President Donald Trump’s legal team and current personal lawyer for Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, is now representing a Pennsylvania state judge facing charges of fraud and witness tampering. Parlatore took the case over from another partner in his namesake firm as York County Judge Steve Stambaugh and prosecutors negotiate a deal that would clear him of the charges. (York Daily Record)
• The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s ex-general counsel is facing charges of soliciting a minor. Jeffrey Neil Downing allegedly had explicit online communications with an undercover deputy who posed as a 15-year-old girl. The annual livestock exhibition is the largest of its kind. (KPRC)
