Gilead Sciences’ Longtime Legal Chief Pletcher Set to Retire

Gilead Sciences Inc. general counsel Brett Pletcher will soon retire after more than a decade in its top legal role, the company disclosed in a securities filing Thursday.

No formal date has yet been set for Pletcher’s exit, according to Gilead. The company said Pletcher will continue to serve as its top lawyer and executive vice president for corporate affairs as Gilead works to “identify a successor.”
