FanDuel Owner Flutter Hires New Top Lawyer After US Listing

Flutter Entertainment PLC, the world’s largest betting company and owner of FanDuel, has hired veteran law department leader Don Liu to be its new chief legal officer.

A spokeswoman for the company confirmed Thursday that Liu will report to its CEO Peter Jackson and be based in New York following Flutter’s listing last year on the New York Stock Exchange. That move switched the gambling company’s operational headquarters to the city, although Flutter—which also owns Betfair, Paddy Power, and PokerStars—is also based in Dublin, Ireland.
